I find it amusing that the DNC/ MSM made a huge deal out of cutting down trees to make gimmick, one time use hotel key cards as opposed to simply sticking with the plastic ones that can be used thousands of times then be recycled into another product.
And for all their buster about conservation, I didn't see them having any issue with distributing thousands of custom printed signs for each and every speaker. We need a new TV show- Is the DNC smarter than a Boy Scout? This story is a blatant falsehood. The flags were to be used at future events and were taken without permission. The McCain-Palin campaign should be ashamed of using stolen American flags and the flags should be returned to their rightful owners.

Under The LobsterScope I was there. I was at the Obama speech. It was terrific, but as it ended, I watched the flags being thrown into trash bins. I asked why they were throwing out American flags. People just ignored me.
I believe Sen. Obama and his supporters like me should be outraged at this trashing of our flag...not making up lies and excuses for what was going to be done with them. Besides...ask yourself...why would they need to "save" the flags for future events? Why not let the people keep them as souvenirs? Why ask for them back? No. They were throwing them in trash bins. I was there. No more will I support Obama. Throwing flags in the trash is disgusting. I would continue to push this story because it is a blatant, disregard for Old Glory. Keep this in the news!
The democrat's best defense is to sigh and say how badly misunderstood they have been. Watch them. They do it whenever they are on the defense. It's a covert way of making everybody else stupid.

Wait, are these like those little plastic flags/equivalently sized cotton flags? People don't just throw those away after 4th of july and whatever?
I mean, I don't, but I consider myself more patriotic than some people. there you go again just trying to back step on yourselves. little did we know that democrats like to store their good in the dumpster. just like Obama cursing across America in his Winnebago this sounds like a total crock. just keep making up stories and when our country is in the trash we can say that we have it there for later use.
Anyway i was at the DNC and saw them throwing them away too and i was also at the McCain Rally in Colorado springs and am now a proud owner of 2 discarded Democratic flags
Put these historical flags on EBAY for the McCain/Palin campaign funds!!!! I would buy one and frame it!
